Great Beginnings

Boyle School Great Beginnings Program

For 3 and 4 year old children

Great Beginnings is an early learning opportunity for children 3-5 years old through a play-based environment

The Boyle School Early Learning Team provides a supportive and enriching environment that fosters each child's social-emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. Our underlying philosophy is that children learn through play, and our goal is to provide many kinds of play experiences, supporting each child's progress at his or her own pace.

Knowing that all children have strengths, we promote the positive accomplishments each child makes.  Children are encouraged to explore, discover and interact. Skills are developed in a non-prescriptive way to ensure that the child's needs are being met in ways that are developmentally appropriate.

Program oversight is provided by a teacher, led on a daily basis by qualified Early Childhood Development Professionals and supported by speech/language, occupational and behavioral therapists.

Boyle School will remain closed on Friday, May 9 to allow students, families, and staff impacted by the evacuation time to return home and recover from this challenging and disruptive experience. In addition, the Aspen View Maintenance Department will be on site to assess the Boyle School building and ensure all systems are fully operational prior to reopening.

If circumstances change and Boyle School is unable to reopen on May 12, teachers will begin contacting families to arrange educational continuity support until in-person learning at Boyle School can resume.

Aspen View Public Schools sincerely thanks all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers for their heroic efforts in combating this wildfire, and we salute our school families and staff for their resilience and courage through these challenging circumstances.
